Bangkok, known to Thais as “Krungthep”, meaning the City of Angels, was established in 1782 by King Rama I as the capital of Siam. Like other modern cities of the world, today Bangkok boasts skyscrapers, luxurious hotels, endless shopping centers, and two modern International airports, Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi.

 

Thailand, “the land of smiles”, has retained its traditional charm with a mixture of East and West, the ancient and the modern. Thai culture welcomes you as a relative or friend.
